This policy explains what personal data Ta Van Village (“we”) collects when you visit tavanvillage.com or book a tour, and what we do with it. Contact for any privacy question: [email protected].
1. What we collect
When you book: your name, email, WhatsApp number, tour date, group size, pickup hotel and any notes you give us (dietary needs, allergies, mobility). When you message us: the conversation itself. When you pay: our payment provider handles your card or PayPal details; we never see or store full card numbers.
2. Why we use it
To confirm and run your tour, to answer your questions, to send your confirmation and pickup details, and to keep the accounting records the law requires. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
3. Who we share it with
Only what is needed to run your tour: your name, group size, pickup hotel, date and any special needs go to the licensed local operator, your guide and driver, the host family or workshop, and, for the 3-day tour, the hotel. If you chose to pay the balance in cash, your guide is told the amount still due. Card details stay with the payment provider, which processes both full payments and deposits.
4. How long we keep it
Booking and payment records: 10 years, as required by Vietnamese accounting law. WhatsApp and email conversations: 24 months after your tour, then deleted. We run no analytics or advertising trackers on this site.
5. Cookies and fonts
The site sets only the essential cookies the booking system needs (cart and session). Fonts load from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when the page loads. See our Cookie Policy.
6. Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, or object to how we use it, by writing to [email protected]. We reply within 30 days. Records we must keep by law are kept until the legal period ends.
